LPN PICKS: The Third Policeman by Flann O-Brien
This week's pick comes from Marcus Parks!
For fans who want to know where Grant Morrison learned how to be weird, this is surreal Irish fiction at its absolute best. It'll make you fall in love with the printed word all over again. You may not quite know what's happening at all times as the one-legged protagonist makes his way through a version of Hell, but the writing is so beautiful you don't really care. It's the most original and thought-provoking take on the afterlife that I've ever read.
